I'm a multidisciplinary writer working in fiction, non-fiction, and theatre. My novel, White Light, was one of NPRs Best Books of 2015. It won an international Latino Book Award. I'm currently obsessed with immersive theatre -- working on a few of those productions as well as plays. I'm also working on my first children's book (Middle Grade). I write essays and op-eds all the time -- main beats are feminism, Cuba, and contemporary art/lit. I'm hoping to sell my second novel soon.
