The story of international hearing health missions engaged in parent education and empowerment is yet to be told. Using qualitative data from 20 years of international training and education, I am looking for help to foster both a guidebook and a memoir. New beginnings is not an accurate description to describe my writing experience these last few years. There are a dozen stories and narrative approaches I have explored. I am looking forward to connecting with writers, coaches, editors and publishers who can embrace the pioneer I've become and help me craft an amazing book to share with global social entrepreneurs, advocates for listening and spoken language, and family centered practitioners who seek positive change in the lives of low resource families and their children coping with hearing loss.
