Author

Kim Fu is a Canadian-born, multi-genre writer and editor living in Seattle, Washington. She is the author of the novels The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore and For Today I Am a Boy, which won the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction, was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, and a Lambda Literary Award, and was a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice. Her poetry collection How Festive the Ambulance received a starred review from Publishers Weekly, and includes a 2017 National Magazine Awards (Canada) Silver Medal winner. Her writing has appeared in Granta, The Atlantic, Hazlitt, The New York Times, and the Times Literary Supplement, and she has received residency fellowships from the Ucross Foundation, Berton House, Wildacres, and the Wallace Stegner House.
