I'm a retired civil rights lawyer. I spend summers on my 91 year old canal barge in France. Winters I build wooden boats. After I represented two detainees at Guantanamo, I wrote THE RELUCTANT TERRORIST, a novel speculating about a Jewish Holocaust in the U.S.. I also wrote about our six years in France in ON A BARGE IN FRANCE.
