I am trying to write my first novel. It is a coming of age story of a sort. The main character is a super confident and pampered young female cat. It's an attempt to capture the moment and express the perils and choices facing a pre-adolescent girl who realizes that she is becoming objectified and constricted. This is in the context of a middle grade fantasy with animals as the major characters.
