Mathea Morais was raised in St. Louis, MO and earned a degree in Literature from NYU. Her work has been published in “Arts & Ideas” Magazine, “Anti-Heroin Chic” and “Disclaimer” Magazine. She lives on Martha’s Vineyard where she teaches English and Creative Writing to children and young adults. Represented by Quressa Robinson of the Nelson Agency, she is currently working on her novel Rahsaan’s Records – a coming of age, interracial love story set in a record store during the 80s & 90s in St. Louis.
