I have just completed a novel inspired by a true story and hope to find a home for it. The novel takes place beginning in rural North Carolina from 1930-1990's. The protagonist is the daughter of a man who is suspected of murdering his wife to cover up his activities in counterfeiting the equivalent of nearly $12 million in the 1950's. He went on to sacrifice his family in his quest for money and stature. He destroyed his family in the process but was beloved by the town, a true "godfather" figure.
